Recently, Bobo's, an oat-based health bar snack brand, announced the completion of $5.5 million in financial capital, with Boulder Food Group, Ridgeline Ventures and VIGR Ventures as investors. On the one hand, the financing will be used to consolidate the supply chain and enhance production capacity, on the other hand, it will accelerate the team's expansion at the channel level to support the growth of the brand.

 

近日,以燕麦为主打的健康棒类零食品牌Bobo’s宣布完成550万美金融资,本轮投资方为Boulder Food Group,Ridgeline Ventures以及VIGR Ventures。此次融资一方面将用来夯实供应链、提升产能,另一方面也将加速团队在渠道层面的拓展,以支撑品牌的成长。

Bobo's main products are only four raw materials: organic oats, organic coconut oil, organic sucrose and brown rice syrup. On the basis of creating a healthy image, Bobo's has gradually expanded its product line. At present, its product structure is relatively rich: besides developing new tastes, it has also introduced filling snack sticks with nut sauce, smaller Bites products with smaller specifications, and even entered the field of baking snacks, selling Toaster form. The expansion of these product lines has also been centered on oats as a core element.
Bobo’s品牌的主打产品只有4种原料:有机燕麦、有机椰子油、有机蔗糖和糙米糖浆。在产品塑造了一定的健康形象的基础上,Bobo’s也逐渐拓展了产品线,目前的产品结构比较丰富:除了研发新的口味,还推出了添加坚果酱的填充类零食棒、更加小规格的Bites类产品,甚至进入到烘焙零食领域,销售Toaster形态的产品,这些产品线的拓展也一直围绕燕麦这个核心的要素呈现。
Bobo's founding team revealed that at the current stage of rapid revenue growth, the company will not pursue short-term profits until 2020, and its main focus is on business expansion. In terms of future growth, Bobo's will continue to dig deep into the bar snack market in the short and medium term. In the long run, Bobo's will probably expand to the whole breakfast category on the basis of brand building through healthy product impression shaping.
Bobo’s的创始团队透露,目前在营收快速增长阶段,公司在2020年前还暂时不会追求短期盈利,主要精力还是放在业务拓展上。在未来的增长层面,Bobo’s中短期还是基于棒类零食市场做深度挖掘,而在长期来看,通过健康的产品印象塑造,Bobo’s可能会在品牌心智建立的基础上拓展到整个早餐品类。
